Thomas
Molinaro
Apr 5, 1939 — Nov 10, 2021
Thomas Molinaro better known as Pops or Papa Tom passed to his eternal home on November 10, 2021. The lives of those who loved him best are forever changed by the legacy of faith, joy, laughter and love that he left in his wake. Born on April 5th, 1939 in Brooklyn,NY to the late Salvatore and Elvira Molinaro, Tom was the oldest of five children. He was educated in the public schools and after graduating High School went on to serve his country in the United States Army. Upon returning, Tom met the love of his life, "Lorra" Atkins, who became his wife in 1960. They remained married until her passing in 2019. Tom and Lorra are survived by their three children Susan Molinaro Brodeur and her husband Mark, Thomas J Molinaro and his wife Jodi, and Marchelle Molinaro. They were loved by many including their 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Tom's life was marked forever when he gave his life to Jesus in 1975. His faith walk with God was a milestone that paved his path in the years that followed. Love, joy and laughter followed Tom wherever he went. From his workplace in the printing industry for 40+ years to family gatherings, Papa Tom's baritone laughter and impromptu songs will forever be remembered by us all. Besides making us laugh with his corny jokes and stories, Tom could often be found enjoying such leisure activities as playing cribbage, doing crosswords, regaling us with the quips from jumbles and working on family jigsaw puzzles. From napping in his car (even if it was just in the driveway LOL) to coffee and burnt toast aromas filling the air and endless trips to Bertucci's for Rigatoni Abruzzo, Tom's days were filled with the things and people he enjoyed most. The memories made with this man called "Daddy", "Papa Tom" and "friend" will continue to bring joy filled tears to our eyes as we each await our step into eternity where we will awaken as Tom did in the presence of Jesus, our lord, and be reunited with a new song face to face.
